Creative Healing was developed to offer an alternative to traditional talking therapy.

The practice is rooted in the belief that children and young people often communicate best through play and creativity.

By providing a flexible and supportive therapeutic space, Creative Healing aims to help young people process their experiences, build emotional understanding, and develop confidence at their own pace.

Meet your Therapist

a HCPC-registered Drama Psychotherapist and the founder of Creative Healing.

My approach as a creative arts psychotherapist is warm, playful and client-centred, supporting children and young people to express themselves in ways that feel safe and natural to them. When words feel difficult, I use creative approaches such as art-making, storytelling, imaginative play, movement and role-play to help explore thoughts, feelings and experiences. There is no expectation to be “good” at drama or art, creativity is simply a tool for expression.

At the heart of both my work and Creative Healing are empathy, trust and relationship. I prioritise building strong, attuned connections so children and young people feel seen, heard and supported in exploring their inner world in empowering and meaningful ways.
